Tsunami Hits South Pacific's Solomons
I dearly hope this is not as bad as it looks. Should we be organizing to help if this is a very bad disaster?
This is what the other news is saying (Bloomberg, who ever they are:

A powerful magnitude-7.6 earthquake struck off the Solomon Islands on Monday, sending a tsunami wave crashing into the country's west coast and prompting region-wide disaster warnings, officials said.

Many thanks, Mrs. Jesselman. I don't know how serious this is yet - please watch for updates and also, I think it would be a good idea to watch whether people need to be mobilized to help, as you suggest (I think).
