The recent events in Turkey seem to have stirred many people's curiosity. Friends and colleagues keep asking me questions such as: "Are all these demonstrations real or is it just the media?" or "Is AKP really an Islamist party?" or "Why is the current president opposing the constitutional reform?" and so on.
