Comedian/Actor Bill Cosby recently
settled a civil suit filed by Andrea Constand, an ex-Temple University
employee, who alleges that the former Cosby Show star drugged and molested her while she was visiting his home in January 2004.

The
suit claims that Cosby, whom Constand had considered a “great friend
and mentor,” invited her to his Pennsylvania home to offer assistance
with a career move she was contemplating.

While the two conversed, Constand expressed to Cosby that she was stressed
about making her career decision. Cosby then offered her three blue
pills, which he allegedly told her were herbal medication, that would
help her relax.

After taking all three pills at Cosby’s assurance, Constand told Cosby that she didn’t feel well.

According
to published reports, Cosby then helped her to the sofa (as she had
trouble walking on her own) and allegedly molested her while she laid
unconscious.

Constand told police that she delayed her
allegations for a year due to concerns over her job status as a Temple
University employee (Cosby’s alma mater) and Cosby’s fame.
