Twitter vs. Dodgeball
An interesting observation from Ross Mayfield on the emergence of Twitter:
Alexa graph, included in my post about how Twitter Tipped the TunaI'd venture because dodgeball is too complex, the web experience seems like a chore, not as many affordances. And they were bought by google.

Both seem like they are imposing an unneccessary tech barrier between people. If I'm at a bar, I call my friends and tell them, provbided I still have the power of speech. I mean, I can see why something like this is really cool as a concept, but personally I find such switched-onnedness to be too much work.
... Or maybe I just don't have enough friends to make such mass networking tools work for me...
I feel so worthless, so alone, and it's all because of dodgeball!
