January 7, 2007 California - A two-alarm blaze, probably ignited by a heater, severely damaged a Palo Alto home Saturday before being extinguished by firefighters. The fire at the two-story home, 1814 Mark Twain St., erupted at 12:14 p.m. in an attic storage area where combustible materials were kept near a forced-air heater, Battalion Chief Don Dudak said.
