America’s major networks and some 800 affiliate stations have united to file court challenges against rulings made by the Federal Communications Commission. ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and their network affiliates filed notices of appeal in various federal courts including Washington D.C. and New York city late Thursday and early Friday protesting FCC rulings on indecency. In a rare joint show of force, all the networks issued a statement decrying the aggressive enforcement of indecency rules that have triggered millions in fines.
