Passengers at Britain's three busiest airports today faced a sixth day of cancellations and delays as travel disruption continued.

British Airways cancelled 41 flights from Heathrow and 11 from Gatwick, while the budget airline Ryanair scrapped eight from Stansted.

BA said it had made the decision to cancel the services on Sunday based on a "provisional directive" from the airports operator BAA to cut 20% of its flights.
