Famed artist, entertainer and creator of the Lunchbox-A-Lele (a cross between ukulele and lunchbox), Ukulele Ray, donates 2-dozen camouflage ukuleles to "Ukes For Troops," a non-profit organization which provides ukuleles to the Nation's peacekeeping forces in Iraq.

Anita Coyoli-Cullen, founder of "Ukes For Troops," was onhand to accept the donated ukuleles from Ukulele Ray and The Box-A-Lele Company at NAMM Show 2007 in Anaheim, CA. NAMM is the National Association of Music Manufacturers.

According to Ukulele Ray, the ukuleles are the world's first camouflage ukuleles, utilizing the actual water-resistent fabric which the military uniforms are made from.

"We create ukes that express one's personality, and the camouflage ukuleles are perfect for our soldiers in war-torn areas like Iraq," Ukulele Ray said. "We're thrilled to be able to make this donation to bring smiles and happiness to those serving our country and protecting the peace in such a volatile area of the world."
