The Historic Lightship Frying Pan

Originally built in 1929 and now permanently docked
at Pier 63, along Manhattan's lower west side, the Frying Pan is listed on both the New York State and Federal Registers of Historic Places, as it is one of only 13 lightships remaining from more than 100 built.
