Underworld, An "Iran,USA,,Israel and al-Qaeda" story

In the entangled existential situation between Israel, Iran and the United States, each one, respectively, is the  problem of the other.  

For Israel: Iran? That’s your problem.   

 1-     “America’s generous military package for Israel, Egypt and the Gulf states covers up the fact that the US has decided to abandon the struggle against Iran…   Last Thursday, Israel signed the agreement to receive the American aid and and from now on, Iran is our problem.( see here)

2-     Potter’s lesson for humanity  Harry Potter books teach us a fundamental lesson about good and evil.   “Evil is evil. Good is good… The older Winston Churchill, just like the younger Harry Potter, was able in the summer of 1940 to reject Hitler’s rapprochement attempts and did not back off from his firm stand against negotiations with “Satan from Berlin,” ….The Nazis too had values and beliefs. Al-Qaeda has them too. Who are we to decide between them? Who made us the judge?….Nobody did, except ourselves. There are no signs for us in the sky – and even if there are, they are weak, blurry, and open to contradictory interpretations. The powerful moral light does not shine outside, but rather, only on the inside; we fight al-Qaeda because we need to fight it. You can ask Harry Potter to tell you where and how.( see here) 

   For Iran:From the “Islamic Republic Agency”: the USA and Israel are the problem

1-    President(Ahmadinejad): Enemies trying to replace divine faiths with misleading thoughts.   “Our duty has gone beyond the geographic borders of the Islamic world. Muslim scholars must invite world population to monotheism and Islam,” said the president.  (see more)

2-     US ’sinking in whirlpool,’ says Iranian supreme leader   Ayatollah Ali Khamenei launches new attack on America and its followers, saying Tehran’s arch-enemy will ’sink deeper’ in future ….. “America and its followers are stuck in a whirlpool, and they sink deeper as time passes. A dangerous future is predicted for them,” he added. ……”In the eternal battle between right and wrong, the Great Satan will lose out,” added Khamenei. ( See more)

    For the United States:   Iran and (perhaps Israel) are the problem. 

Terrorist Label for Iran Guard Reflects U.S. Impatience With U.N.   WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 — In moving toward designating Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a foreign terrorist organization, the Bush administration is adopting a more confrontational approach with Tehran, reflecting frustration with a stalled sanctions package at the United Nations Security Council , officials said Wednesday.     What can I, a simple mortal, say? In his monumental book “Underworld” , the author Don Delillo, tells a forty years story, beginning in 1951 with a baseball game, following the story of the winning baseball, and so telling the story of  the  Cold War. Our actual 'baseball'  is buried in our underworld and needs more than Don Delillo vision and Potter wizardry, to tell us our imminent fate. (Interview with Don Delillo)
