Unlucky cab passenger getting ready to sue his cab driver

Working at home, doors closed, no sound except for the tappy tap tapping of my keyboard then suddenly car brakes lock the tires and rubber screeches along a road surface folloed promptly by a CRASH!

I look outside and a taxi cab seems to have gone into the side of a minivan, people carrier. The lady driving the MPV was trying to change lanes quickly and the cab driver slammed into her.

My worst nightmare is being late and being in a cab and being in an accident. Of course in the back of the cab sits a passenger. I have no idea if he was late for anything but I know he was already previously injured. Whether or not he was hurt in the crash (or anyone for that matter) I am unsure.
