Kate McCann is being questioned for a second day and her husband, Gerry, has come to the police station for interviewing and is being formally named as a suspect in the case of their missing daughter, Madeleine. The McCanns deny any involvement in their daughter's disappearance.

Police, who are barred by law from discussing ongoing investigations, made no comment.

Kate and Gerry McCann, both doctors from central England, have spearheaded an intense media campaign since 4-year-old Madeleine went missing from a holiday apartment in the Algarve where she was sleeping with her 2-year-old twin siblings.

merrie, fast work, good stuff again. Thanks. This is a horrible development.

Thanks, PEP    Does it seem similar to the Natalie Hollaway case? I wonder if their detectives have forensic

training. They act like Inspector Clouseau. What a tragedy for the family.
