Jim Gray took his sail boat and left alone to spread his mother remains in the San Francisco Bay Area a few days ago. He has not been seen or heard ever since. The Coast Guard started a search and came out empty handed, had to give up. Then a few friends and colleagues of Jim mobilized to help find the disappeared scientist. They enlisted other friends, rerouted some satellites and downloaded a huge amount of imagery from the area where Jim Gray might be adrift or stranded, they then loaded these data and imagery to Amazon Mechanical Turk and here is where you come in. They are NEEDING more volunteers to help looking into these imagery, here is the Internet and web 2.0 at its best. Let's make a difference..

Update: Coast Guard checking on ships that were in the general area where Jim's boat was likely to be. Posters in English and Spanish being distributed in West Coast marinas and private airports asking for clues and leads. Volunteers calling and e-mailing marinas seeking clues. More help needed!!
