Upland Firefighter Critical After Floor Drop

January 4, 2007 Indiana - A firefighter was critically injured Wednesday when a floor collapsed beneath him, trapping him in the basement of a burning house. Seven other firefighters suffered lesser injuries trying to rescue him, authorities said.
