Urban Mixer hosted a special cocktail party on Friday (March 16th, 2007) night sponsored by:

• SSID Inc. - financial sponsor for the event, official technology company, e-mail provider and website host for the Urban Mixer
• UltraXpress Printing - postcards, passports, visas and print material
• Burst! Creative Group - imagery for our event
• INFAMOUS Magazine - media sponsor
• School of Mix and DJ T-Wrex - music
• Lucky Diner - delicious Dublin inspired canapés

Partial proceeds from the event went to the BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre.

One of Vancouver's best-known socialites, Raj Taneja, his staff, Anita Modha, Nina Sohi as well as a dozen volunteers hosted a 250 guest early-evening cocktail party at the newly-remodeled Bar None in Vancouver's Yaletown. 

Lani Krantz, the celtic harpist, played alongside DJ T-Wrex. Jay Jones, formerly of Salt and NU, showed the room his very special style of mixology featuring drinks like the rum-based Irie Cup and the gin-based Churchil. Appetizers were provided by Lucky Diner which coincidentally is owned by Sean Heather, famous proprietor of the Irish Heather.
