When U.S. government officials and foreign policy pundits discuss terrorism, they usually focus on the characteristics, personnel, history, tactics, targets, objectives and effects of terrorist organizations. They rarely talk about motives. To fully understand Islamic terrorism, one needs to understand what triggers this extraordinary rage. And throughout history one factor stands out above all else: the occupation of Muslim land by non-Muslim forces.

According to the Quoran, Christians should be treated fairly but not equally. However, anyone who doesn't believe God is fair game. That is, it's ok to kill that person. That was explained to me by my philosophy professor who's Muslim himself. You cannot appease it and you cannot be politically correct about it. You cannot hug it like a tree and be done with it. It's a deep rooted ideology. Leaving their land won't give you peace. They're already all over Europe. Europe is now their land and you just have to leave.
Blogs are great, but your post is a great example why institutionalized media is still relevant. They spend money on research and go on 'location' before making a report. With blogs, even ill informed and ignorant individuals are allowed to report news with facts cherry picked from newspapers and other blogs.
