Conservative US Senator David Vitter fought for the Federal Defense of Marriage Act. He was vocal in critcizing those who objected to the Conservative-led impeachment of Bill Clinton .Vitter also replaced Bob Livinston who was exposed for having numerous affairs while leading the Louisiana delegation and running to replace the Speaker of the House. He has run as a tough family values God fearing Republican trotting out his wife Wendy and four kids to show what a good Christian man he is refering frequently to the fact that he and his wife are rectors in their church.

Then his name appeared among the thousands on the DC Madam's phone list. According to a Canal Street Madam he is a good guy, not freaky or kinky like some others and his wife should forgive him. Other prostitutes disagree. See Louisiana's Senator likes to wear diapers. Wonkette ran the story based on a story in Louisiana blog YRHT (Your Right Hand Thief ) which had this to say.

Wonkette linked to the YRHT post that aired rumors about Vitter's supposed diaper fetish. Then according to the DU, James Carville might have mentioned it on CNN this afternoon.

I only have one source about this salacious "diaper detail", which is beside the point of the matter.
However, for the record, this source knows multiple former patrons of
the Canal Street Madam who happen to be lawyers, and they told my
source about the diaper fetish. This source has provided me with
extremely reliable information in the past, and that's why I chose to
include it in the post. The Canal Street Madam herself defended Vitter today
and said he was not into anything "unusual", which flatly contradicts
what my source told me about Vitter's preferences. However, it confirms
what my source told me about Vitter being a client of the Canal Street
Madam-- which is a far more important point than some diaper imagery,
and shows a pattern of behavior rather than one single lapse.

jairus_otieno, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. To make such an accusation  about a member of the US Senate's private affairs without a verified source is borderline defamation. I will remove this flag if you source the story appropriately. The source you do site only has unnamed sources and as a blog which focuses on sex related topics I do not consider it a formidable source of information.

Unlike major political news , sex scandals tend to rely on " street sources" . If i was the New York Times i would run it with a rumors tag or unconfirmed sources tag but as a gossip blog, we rely on shady sources- and as a sex blog even more shady because most don't want to see their name appear in print.

In reference to Senator David Vitter, these stories have been circulating for years. Salon magazine reported the prostitute story in 2004 when he ran, Bob Novak references the sex rumor stories just today in his news letter about Bob Jingal and his governors race. Vitter got away with the prostitute thing in 2004 because the hooker in question didn't want to deal with the media frenzy. So we are careful not to smear the Senator but just google Vitter and diaper and you'll see the multiple sourcing that is carrying this story.

Diaper story on Jay Leno and the Tonight Show so time to take the flag off the story. Here's another one. New Orleans Blogger Blageur reporting Senator David Vitter has an illegitimate child with the New Orleans hooker he was linked to back in 2004 (salon) . The Latina woman now resides in Alexandria Va with said child. Apparently this is a well known story in Louisiana political circles.

CNN transcript 07/11/07

I think this is a difficult time for him. I would be hard- pressed
to expect him to survive politically. David Vitter cannot use a "So
what?" defense, as Bill Clinton could, because, in fact, he pretended
to be something quite different than Bill Clinton did.

And
Armey's axiom is, the greater the pretension, the greater the
hypocrisy. The next step is, the greater the hypocrisy, the greater the
political...

(CROSSTALK)

BLITZER: But what does he say? That he asked his wife for forgiveness. They have gone to marriage counseling.

CARVILLE: Right.

BLITZER: He's now moved beyond that. He admits he -- he sinned.

CARVILLE: Look, to me, I forgive -- I mean, I completely forgive him,
but he's -- it's the people of Louisiana he's got to go to. And people
in Louisiana are going to say, that's great. I'm just saying, but --
but we don't need to be embarrassed anymore. We don't need to have
$90,000 in the freezer. We don't need somebody like getting a
prostitute to wear -- getting him to wear a diaper or whatever the
story is.

And they feel like that their state -- or our
state, I should say, my state -- that we have been tarnished by a lot
of this. And people want to move on from that. But he did -- but he --
it's not -- the voters. He's got to ask the forgiveness of the voters
at some point. It's not just his wife, or God (INAUDIBLE) forgives
everybody.

And what's so unusual about an adult becoming aroused by having a willing parter (of the opposite sex, of course) change one's soiled diaper?  I mean, who hasn't gone there?
