Actual News Geezer's Channel

I was the first ever Actual News Guy at Nowpublic.com. The youngsters on the editorial team called me chief, pops, and sometimes I even heard Actual News Geezer.That's because I am very, very old - and started my career as a TV reporter back in the Pleistocene Era when we shot on this stuff called "film." Other oldsters will remember newscasters saying, "Film at 11."  That was my stuff.I got to travel around, saw some big stuff happening - like the fall of communism in Moscow - and interviewed people like Ronald Reagan, Boris Yeltsin, and Mikhail Gorbachev. I shouted a question at George Bush and was shouted at by a famous Canadian prime minister.But that's all over now. I'm the Actual News Geezer.
