My name is Victor, I am a meteorologist. I am currently a college student, with a major in political science. My goals are to continue on with my education, with a focus on education or civil service. I have kicked around the idea of becoming a lawyer, but still have plenty of options. My passions are health, politics, reading, and writing. I write about anything and everything, including some poetry. My political leaning are toward progressive-socialism, and I don't necessarily support liberals. I am open to Democrats and Republicans, but am turned off by fundamentalist Christian conservatives. I love to crush, nay, destroy, and expose conservatives for the hypocritical morons they really are. I like to expose the Limbags, the O'really's, and the Insanity's of the world. The chicken-hawk conservatives are my favorite birds to fry. It is these draft dodging, fear mongering morons that armchair quarterback wars from the comfort of their luxury suites. They pontificate and bloviate without any morality and ethics. I come from a Catholic background, became a protestant, and am now associate as a humanist or agnostic. I take a keen interest in Middle Eastern history and politics, as I find the area fascinating. American history, sociology, and politics are some of my favorite areas of study. Some of my favorite authors include Alexis DeToqueville, Thomas Jefferson, and Furdawsi. Though I don't watch television much, some of my favorite personalities are Stephen Colbert and Keith Olbermann. As much as I hate to admit it, I used to enjoy Bill O'reilly; but I am convinced his mind has left this planet. I am originally from Chicago, Il, but am currently located in North Carolina. As a war vet I have served in Japan, Philippines, and am currently in Afghanistan. I have been all over the United States, and enjoy experience life and different cultures.
