This establishment is only blocks from my home and is very well known in the Vancouver fine dining scene.

shooting, which occurred just after 11 p.m. at the Quattro Restaurant in the 2600 block of W4th Avenue.
Reports claim that two masked gunmen entered the restaurant and targeted the victim, it appears to be gang related. The rash of shootings in the what used to be considered the quiet west side of Vancouver seems to be shaking people's confidence in the peacefulness of this beautiful city...I know it is for me.
Police say two masked gunmen, wearing dark clothing, fired about six rounds through the window on the Trafalgar Street side of the restaurant. Inside, a group of 25 people were celebrating a birthday party.

The case is under investigation by Vancouver Police major crime section, as well as the gang squad.

Police say the male victim of the shooting is believed to have been the target, adding he is not cooperating with the investigation.

I just returned from the scene of the  crime and can report that the shot out window has been replaced. The only evidence of the incident were the glass shards littering the ground, reporters standing around, and the inside of the restaurant was a mess. See the attached footage of the scene. According to a reporter I spoke with, the gunmen got out of their car on Trafalgar St. walked behind a row of bushes and shot through the window.
