Today I met with Maurice of Olyblog. An interesting project for us locals. Here is something that caught my eye today:
As I read the editorial all I could think was, where has the Sun been for the last two years while OlyBLOG and a few thousand others have been debating this point to death? It's a bit late now, after the damage is done, for necessary illusion posturing wrapped in righteous indignation. The editorial made it sound like the writer was surprised and incensed that VANOC works this way. I'm surprised they're surprised. Anyone who reads this blog knows how it works.

mtippett, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. I've got a few suggestions, and if you give them a try, I'd be happy to remove this flag.
It can really help if you follow the old "W5" news formula -- making
sure you have answered the questions: Who? What? Where? When? And Why?
Where is this story taking place? I'm guessing here - but is it Whistler, Canada?
Who is Maurice? Vanoc? OlyBLOG??? all these need to be identified.
What is this all about? I suspect this has somethng to do with the 2010 Winter Olympics but this is just an educated guess.
I wasnt sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered.
