Venerable Margherita Occhiena

Father Gonzales at Overheard in the Sacristy notes that the Congregation for the Causes of Saints has recognised the heroic virtue of Margherita Occhiena, the mother of St John Bosco, permitting her to be styled 'venerable' and preparing the way forward to beatification.
