Videos of the odd from Wall Street Journal

The WSJ uses "brightcove" for their video and I had already noticed that app and have begun using it with video on my community news site, creatingcommunityconnections.org.

Now the WSJ   has a Tech Diary video feature. Andy Jordan takes on the odd and strange and streams it to viewers. The first one I watched was about a seat-back chat feature now in some planes in the Virgin Airlines fleet. You use a touch screen on the back of the seat to chat up fellow passengers. Lots of people complained to touch screen users that they didn't like getting the back of their seat poked.

It is a funny story, complete with audio that has the hum of the aircraft. I don't know why, but I like this feature and may even subscribe to its feeds.
