This year's airshow at Biggin Hill in Britain was particularly auspicious -- it marked the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) and the 45th anniversary of the airshow itself. Vintage WWII fighter planes took part, as well as the demonstration team Red Arrows, pyrotechnics, helicopters, paratroopers, you name it. Check out our gallery of user-submitted photos!
Temperatures reached an estimated 25 degrees during the show, meaning perfect weather conditions for pilots displaying.

Show-goer Monica Clements, from Los Angeles, said: "It's been awesome.

"I have never seen the Red Arrows and it was superb."

Phil Halper, 33, said: "I only came to the show on impulse.

"There has been very good acts, we particularly enjoyed the Red Arrows and the pyrotechnics."
