VPL Librarians Should Hold a Spelling Bee

Striking librarians are keeping themselves busy on the picket line at the VPL Main Branch with knitting, read-ins, and puppet theatre.  

Maybe they should hold a spelling bee.

Look at the Fairness for Civic Workers website, at a prominent article entitled:

"Book-knowlege great street-knowlege: Library workers walk the line for pay equity" 

The article opens with, "When we think of library workers we think resourceful, intelligent. . . ."
