Ever had a long walk on a lonely beach spoiled by the flotsam and jetsam? Adelaide, South Australia has miles of beautiful beaches just made for walking, but take a look at the f&j score from just over one hour’s wandering by a somewhat peeved local photographer. Thirty pieces of discarded footwear, flip-flops, slip-ons, sandals, sneakers and sadly, not a matching pair among them. If you’re missing a shoe... perhaps we have it. That would make an awesome album cover...
So are there a lot of people hanging out at the Austral comparing lost-shoe stories?

Album cover...? If there's a band called TRASH you might be onto something. Seems you know you Adelaide Pubs too. Research time well spent no doubt.

Rikx, Good stuff. Very strange indeed, do you think the footwear was washed up or dumped?

Because it was all so scattered seems it was just lost items washed up by wind and wave. No sinister intent apparent but does point out the persistence of plastic doesn't it.
