Want a Pet for Halloween? Try A Virtual Tarantula

These spiders are so cool! You get a full screen tank with a life-sized tarantula. We have only been playing with our Mexican Red Knee for a little while, but he seems to have very realistic traits, as they website says. We used to have a Rose Toed Tarantula, and like I said-this is soo real--If you're squeemish about spiders you might want to skip this virtual pet.

 Update: We played with “Fiona” a bit longer and find that the
Free version spiders are limited to 14 plays, and the plays are time
limited to–oh, about 2 or 3 minutes, I would guess. I still think they
are great fun, and would consider registering Fiona’s birthday for $10
and getting to keep her.

The first creatures to hatch in the Virtual Creatures range are the
Mexican Red Knee and the Chilean Rose Tarantulas, soon to be followed
by an Emperor Scorpion.
