The producers of an off-Broadway show called My First Time are looking for you. That is if you're a virgin. The show's producers are giving away free tickets to anyone who can demonstrate his or her chastity. And they've hired a hypnotist to screen people to make sure that they're not lying. The idea behind the virgin stunt was to get people talking about their first sexual experience, something that almost any person can relate to. When asked if the producers were worried that too many tickets would sell out, they said they weren't too worried as there weren't that many virgins in New York City.

I've always wondered, and has this been addressed; is there any reason to believe that "virgin" implies only male/female sexual experience? I mean religiously, or anything, would a person ever be considered a "virgin" on the basis that they may have had homosexual experiences but have never had a heterosexual experience? I've always been curious about this.

I think it would apply to any sexual experience phillip, wouldn't it? But I would like to know how they imagine a person can "demonstrate" chastity. It's that problem of negative proof.
