Waterbury Firefighters Battle House Fire

June 18, 2007 Connecticut - A late afternoon Fathers Day fire left three families displaced at 36 Cooke Street in Waterbury. The Waterbury Fire Department was summoned to the scene after a police patrol unit spotted the fire during routine patrol of the neighborhood. An aggressive attack by the Waterbury crews brought the fire, which had heavy smoke and fire showing upon arrival, quickly under control.
