I am a frequent traveler and spend over 100,000 miles in the air every year.  I have been reading, with much interest, all of the bloggers on the web complaining about the fact they can't bring beverages or hair care products on planes.  Marc Canter mentions on his blog that airlines should put a bottle of water on each seat.

Okay, time for a reality check.  Put your hair care products in your checked baggage. And...guess what?  You can buy water and all kinds of beverages once you clear security and bring them on the plane.  So, while it may cost you an extra 25% on your purchase, I would say the security upside is worth it.

This whole issue has really been blown out of proportion.  Time for a bit of a reality check on this.
