68 injured in collisions of 100 cars in Spain

Toledo, Spain (ANTARA News) - Sixty-eight people were injured Tuesday
in three chain collisions involving a total of more than 100 vehicles
on a 10-kilometre highway stretch near Toledo in central Spain,
officials said.

Nine of the victims sustained serious injuries.

The vehicles involved included a bus, several lorries and a fire engine.

Officials attributed the accidents mainly to foggy weather, DPA reported.(*) END
