State leaders who have sent their messages of sympathy to Chinain recent days included Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Nigerian President Umaru Yar'adua, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and Seychelle's President James Michel.
The Red Cross Society of Beijing has partnered with YeePay, a leading payment service provider in China, to launch online donation service for snow disaster relief.

Hello Rob,
I have more photos of the snowstorm. I just came back from Xi'an and Shanghai and I am now in Beijing. While there is no snow in Beijing right now, there were quite a lot of snow in Xi'an and Shanghai, as you saw in my Xi'an photos. I have some photos taken in the domestic Shanghai airport where staff were trying to get rid of snow off the runway. The day I left Shanghai for Beijing, we were delayed by 6 hours on flight. Many people were stuck in the airport as well as in train stations. If you are interested, I could let you use some of those also.
Thanks again for using my pictures. I am really interested in getting into photojournalism. I am currently a media major still in college.
