Mandala skids off runway, injuring five

Surabaya, E Java (ANTARA News) - A Mandala Airlines plane skidded off the runway at Abdurrahman Saleh Airport in the East Java city of Malang on Thursday, injuring five passengers.
The runway was slippery after heavy rain when the Boeing 737 carrying tens of passengers from Jakarta was landing at the airport, spokesman for the airport Capt Wayudi said.
"None of the passengers was killed," he said.(*) END
