The Never-Ending Typhoon Krosa - Day 5...and 6

Here it is day five of rollercoaster weather being produced by Typhoon Krosa. Late Saturday (6 October 2007) the island fell victim to the outer bands of the cyclone as a heavy downpour of rain fell suddenly about 9:00 p.m. And as people who had been roaming the streets only moments earlier headed for cover, newly-arriving customers trickled in to an island live music facility with the appearance of having just stepped out of their own personal showers. Yet by mid-morning, the rain soaked streets and parking lots were almost bone dry and the sky was back to being nothing more than a fast-paced byway of cloud streams. It was almost as if being struck with a déjà vu incident, the weather being very reminiscent of the previous two days of this never-ending tropical storm system. Here is some footage of Typhoon Krosa’s day five effects on the main Ryukyu Island of Okinawa.

UPDATE: Day 6, another day of the clouds rambling through the horizon in a rush to catch Tropical Storm (Typhoon) Krosa before it becomes nothing more than another storm system lost at sea. But this morning those bands were not satisfied with the usual. As if overtaken by the desire not to be forgotten, those outer bands of the ongoing cyclone reared thier heads and produced a hard to forget a sunrise.

Here is a sample of the spectacular show:

JAWnOn, this is great: nice solo coverage, plus a great addition to the overall NowPublic coverage of this event. Well done.

Thank you, I'm new and am still learning about the upload system. Hopefully, next time I'll be able to get the footage out sooner and with less errors.
