Commuters and those wishing to travel by air in the Toronto region were forced to make other plans after snow and freezing rain caused chaos across the city. Flights have been cancelled and police are urging people to stay off the roads if possible and go very slowly if they have to drive. I personally lost internet multiple times this morning, I'm assuming it might have something to do with either the ice caked on the lines or the blowing snow.

It’s a wet and sloppy drive across southern Ontario as a complex storm system moves through the region in two parts.
Winter-storm and freezing-rain warnings remain in effect from Windsor to Kingston as the region is deluged with snow, rain and freezing rain.
Toronto and southern Ontario commuters face a wet, sloppy drive this morning as they deal with round one of a winter storm.  
The Ontario Provincial Police told CTV that they are receiving a crash report every 3.5 minutes.  
Main highways have been plowed, but Toronto's city streets are in worse shape.
A winter storm that's making it's way across southern Ontario has caused more than 100 flight cancellations at Toronto's Pearson International Airport, with many more expected Wednesday afternoon.
Greater Toronto Airports Authority spokesperson Trish Krale said delays and cancellations will continue throughout the day as a moisture-laden winter storm continues to affect southern Ontario.
