La Paz Baja California Sur, September 18,2007. The city of La Paz was shaken by a 5.2 magnitude earthquake yesterday morning at 2:02 am.  The State Unit of Civil Protection has been strengthening information programs and seismic risk prevention throughout massive communication means and training of staff and personnel in schools and other institutions. Today they were at Colegio Patria y Cultura teaching the children what to do and not to do during an earthquake situation during a drill with students and personnel.
