Web2.0 - extended mindcloudmap

I think I'm just about the only person around who still believes
its possible to build a directory site of value. In fact, I'm betting big on it
with TagTooga.com. Web 2.0 style. Wiki-style. With cross-referencing, SPAM-filtering, comment-enabled, thumbnail-enabled, community-based ranking, fast inclusion of new and significant content, and timely exclusion of outdated content.

It's the place where you'll find an A-list of sites for every imagineable topic. Actually, TagTooga's a directory that incorporates not only site references (URLs), but video, mp3 music, code fragments, blurbs, software downloads, and MySpace friends, with more to come. It's conceivable that a musical band can create a page with links to its website, embedded mp3 music samples, MySpace home page, videos on YouTube, etc. TagTooga.com is a place where a company, band, photographer, consultant, fashion model, etc. can consolidate their presence on the Internet. It's also the place where the Internet community can freely decide on which sites are the best sources of information on topics such as "shrimp aquaculture".

The Internet is overdue for it. Especially when search engine results seem to be getting worse. Is there a search solution for those of us that don't want to wade through link farms, splogs, scraper sites, inane blog chatter, message posts, outdated content, etc.? The answer is YES: TagTooga.com. The more it gets used the better it gets.

The best thing is that anti-webspam is built-in. TagTooga's servers automatically parse HTML to extract a Google ID, and if one is found matching a known webspam ID, the submission is automatically deleted. The web spammers can keep registering new domains and building new websites, it really doesn't matter. As long as they are using the same Google ID they are excluded from TagTooga.com.

TagTooga also share's its data via RSS, APIs, and online browsing features. One such feature is the reverse Google ID lookup. Sites showing Google ads will be listed with a "G" icon in TagTooga which can be clicked on to display any other sites in the TagTooga system using the same ID. The TagTooga administrators use this feature when spot-checking new edits. If a webspam site is found, any other existing sites owned by the spammer are immediately removed and the Google ID is banned.
