1. Well, the big thing on my calendar this weekend, is the opening of Brian Jungen's exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery (I am going to stop linking to the VAG as of now, since I mention it so often. If you want it, you will be able to find it yourself). Delighfully, this coincides with this months's FUSE so you can also enjoy a cocktail, some music by Scrap Arts Music, Standing Wave and Michael Red, the Takao Tanabe restorspective and some spoken word slam poetry from Ivan Coyote and friends. I'm not so sure about the rest of the bits, but I haven't been to FUSE in a while and I am really looking forward to seeing Brian Jungen's reconstructed sneakers as Native Art.
Tomorrow night (Friday), from 6 - 11 PM. Admission is $10 or free for gallery members.
