My name is Wendy Chavez and I'm a journalist and designer.

Along the way I've tried to collect as much experience in a wide range of areas as my career and personal interests would allow me to:

I worked as a TV producer, director and writer; as a special news reporter; and as an anchor/hostess.

I had the chance of interviewing local and international key personalities from diverse areas ranging from politics to art and popular culture.

I also know what it's like to be in the rush of press rooms; felt the frenziness of being in the middle of a campaign in an important advertising firm; and experienced the old magic of the radio studios.

But I also wanted to live a "normal" life, to breath and share with my own family and friends...

So, these days you can find me trying many ways of art, enjoying meeting new people from around the world and still devoting some time to develop new ways to approach and fulfill my journalism and broadcasting "instincts".
