An early morning fire has damaged an historic school on
Vancouver's west side.

Fire investigators say a fire broke out at about four this
morning at the ''Our Lady of Perpetual Help'' school in Point Grey.

The three-alarm blaze was confined to one classroom but the roof
is black and torched.

One firefighter was slightly injured and was checked over in
hospital and released.
