NP Rank:
What Can Network Marketing Do For You: Part 2
In this post I will continue the quote from the book, Being the Best You Can In MLM by John Kalench
In the last post on this subject I ended with the question So what is your job?
"Your job is to do the following three things:
1. Use the products and love them
There's no shortcut - and it's a good thing, too! Network Marketing offers some of the most extraordinary products and services in the world. This business is filled with one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art, fantastic products that get the most amazing results for the people who use them.
Products that help people lose weight and keep it off - people who've rarely been able to diet successfully before. Nutritional and health products that help the human body relieve symptoms of the disease and discomfort, while providing the kind of increased energy and mental clarity that actually changes people's lives.
In Network Marketing you can find personal and household products that do the impossible. Cleaners, deodorizers, shampoos, soaps, toothpaste and more, that outperform common supermarket and drug store items so remarkably, you have to use them yourself to actually believe what a superior value they are.
There are discount phone services that can save you a small fortune. Things you can bolt on or pour into your car that increase gas mileage and horsepower - and help the environment in the process!
Network Marketing has created the home water filtration business - a billion dollar industry that makes a living removing impurities from your water! There are Networking services and memberships that enable ordinary people to participate in investments, travel and many other benefits previously available only to the rich and famous.
There is no end to the list of remarkable products and services offered through Network Marketing. Our business has some of the highest quality, most amazing products and services the world has ever seen!
So Point #1 should be easy to do - love your product. Be your own best customer - and with that, you have a classic win-win situation!
2. Share and Recommend your product to Others
This is so simple. You do this all the time. We all do. We can't help it unless we choose to go through life as an "undercover agent!"
When we see a terrific movie or go to a great restaurant, we naturally tell people about it. How did you decide on the TV you won, the car you drive, the neighbourhood where you live? You talked to other people - more than likely friends that shared their experience with you. They told you about their favourite brand of this or that. You took in these recommendations and then made decisions.
Professional marketers know they have to do three things to guarantee lasting success:
1. They have to get you to try their product. That's called "trial."
2. They have to get you to use their product or service again and again. When you do, they call you a "consumer franchise."
And the most important of all... the thing all marketers dream of accomplishing:
3. They need you to like it so much that you recommend it to other people. It's called "consumer advocacy."
Network Marketing companies simply reward you directly for your consumer advocacy. They understand the value of your P.O.P. (Point of Purchase) recommendations to others. So, Nework Marketing companies choose to compensate you, the individual marketer.
It's almost like being paid to be a friend. Friends share good news with each other. Discovering a fantastic product or service with wonderful benefits is something you share with your friends. In Network Marketing, you are paid for doing this. Think of it as "thank-you" money. And the more friends you develop, the greater your potential, contribution and rewards.
3. Sponsor other people to join you
When people see you having fun building your own business ... that it's simple ... that you're making money ... that the people in your Network and company are actively helping you ... they'll think very seriously about joining you.
Network Marketing isn't about "twisting someone's arm" or "hard-selling" anyone to do anything. It's about offering it to people and letting them make a choice. This isn't the persuading or convincing business. It's the sorting business. You just keep offering until you find the right person at the right time. That's it.
You sponsor as many or as few people as you choose. When you do, you agree to be responsible for teaching them how to do what you do - and what you teach are these three steps.
1. Use the product and love it.
2. Share it with other people.
3. Sponsor others into the business.
IT'S UP TO YOU
The standards of success for your business are your own. No one measures your performance but you. There is no supervisor or boss telling you what to do, how or when to do it.
Your ethics and attitudes also are all your own. The thoughts and feelings you have are directly expressed in the outcomes you produce. You are rewarded honestly and sometimes richly in direct proportion to your values and the efforts you put forth. There isn't anything or anyone in this industry to prevent you from "just getting by" or from "soaring like an eagle" to the very highest pinnacle of success. It's all up to you.
No one with more advanced education, inherited wealth, a more supportive enviroment, with "born talent," or with any other so-called social or economic advantage has a better chance than you do of succeeding in Network Marketing.
In this business, we are all born completely equal.
In this business, we all succeed based solely upon how we balance our freedoms with our responsibilities."
