Researchers
at the University of Northampton's lift technology department have
carried out extensive checks on the condition of the tower. They want
to hear from residents, businesses and academics who think they can
come up with a use for the tower's unusual dimensions.

Proposals for a commercial use can be emailed to lift-tower@northampton.ac.uk by Monday, March 5.
