What's Maine got over Florida?

As a transplanted Floridian tired of seeing his tax money siphoned away to pay for spiraling petroleum costs, I exhort our representatives in Tallahassee to move on this issue with the urgency it merits. As an environmentalist, I want to see Florida do its part to reduce the innumerable tons of global-warming gases it produces each year, and as a proud American, I want my state to join others such as the aforementioned New Jersey and New York, along with California and Washington, in embracing renewable energy because it's the right thing to do.
