A circuit board depicting a middle-finger-waving moon man installed at nine cities around Boston triggered recurring bomb scares on Wednesday and prompted the closure of bridges and a stretch of the Charles River. Dotted with blue and purple lights, the devices are shaped like “Aqua Teen” characters, mooninites. Err, is seen here with slanted eyebrows and what appear to be raised middle fingers. A film based on the cartoon is scheduled to be released this year. Image Credit: Boston Police Department
