Now that summer school vacations have started in all of the Americas, travelling throughout most of continent  is reaching new highs.  Continued good economic performance in the United States and Latin America is creating a boom in travel, including air travel.  A great option to travel in the southern United States is Atlanta, a city that has a great service infrastructure post the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.

One of the great attractions for families is perhaps one of the most simple legacies out of the Olympic games: th Fountain of Rings.  The Fountain of Rigs, shaped like the Olympic Rings is located in the Centennial Olympic Park in downtown.  It is located right next to Atlanta's main landmarks: CNNCenter, the Georgia Acquarium and the Georgia World Congress Center.

People of all ages go and take a splash at the fountain creating a very nice environment that is both fun to watch and even better to participate.  So next time you come to Atlanta this summer, don't forget to bring your swimsuit.  You are sure to have a great time at the Fountain of Rings.  And don't forget to bring the family too.

A full collection of photos from the fountain can be found in my flickr set: Summer at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park
