When You've Embarrassed the Boss...

At one time or
another we've all done something to embarrass ourselves at work. We
call someone by the wrong name, trip on our way up to the podium or
discover that we have spinach in our teeth after a conversation with
the CEO. But how many of us have done something that made your boss
blush?

Dave caused both he and his superiors considerable
humiliation when he dragged himself out of bed with the flu to attend
an important sales presentation, and then -- a la George Bush Sr.--
proceeded to vomit all over the client's conference room.

Kim,
an administrative assistant, made her manager cringe when she
cheerfully (and rather loudly) advised him that his "barn door" was
open during a staff meeting
