Which Way To Turn? Some Downtown Streets Go Both Ways Now

Three streets in downtown Vancouver
-- which had been one-way streets for decades -- changed to two-way
streets over the weekend. And while some drivers may be skeptical,
business owners in Yaletown are welcoming the conversion.

The
affected roads are sections of Homer, Cambie and Beatty Streets, and
City Transportation Engineer Doug Louie says the change reflects the
boom in retail and residential development in that part of the city.
