Who Duped Bill Clinton on Saddam’s WMD’s?

Sen. Hillary Clinton resists coming across with the apology many in her party believe she owes for having voted for "Bush’s war."She resists even saying she regrets that vote.

Instead, she’s come up with a presidential primary campaign mantra she hopes will mollify her party’s obstreperous peace-at-any-price crowd. She tells her party’s increasingly restive anti-war rowdies that if she knew then what she knows now, she wouldn’t have voted to authorize the Iraq war.

Stopping just a fraction of an inch short of saying it outright, she calculatedly implies that she was duped by the Bush administration into supporting the removal of the Saddam regime by military force.

But if the Bush administration duped her into over-rating Saddam as a threat, then she is left to answer this question: Who duped her spouse-- President Bill Clinton-- and his top aides into likewise over-rating the Saddam threat?
