Gee,to be proven right is vindication,and to think I have been saying this in the media all along for 2 years, my comments of course fell on deaf Media ears at environmental conferences. Polls certainly did not need to waste taxpayers money and newsprint on this one. I have also said publicly, if Canadians think higher gas prices will go towards a cleaner environment, I have a lead on some sure fire "cold fusion technology".

Canadians need to give their "Heads a Shake" and wake up to Reality. History has proven that Governments will certainly take your "Green Gas Tax" money, set up a bureaucracy,consulting agencies, hiring of thousands of new public servants that will make the Billion Dollar Gun Registry look like a small town postal outlet. The end result will be a few token media appearances, political blustering, millions of useless "Drive Less" pamphlets in a variety of official languages, use your imagination Canadians, the Government will surely find unique ways to spend all this money, None, and I repeat None will ever go towards to a cleaner Environment or sustainable Technology that will make a difference. How is that for a accurate forecast!

Surely, Dr. Suzuki is a smart man, he should have realised that common sense dictates 500 people doesn't make a Nation. But then my Opinion, doesn't speak for a country.
