Wife clubs Big Cat with log after husband is attacked in California state park

Whoever formulated the saying: "Whatever a Man can do, a Woman can do better" really had a sense of fore-thought. Or did you ever think that love wanes with age? Then you are outright wrong.

Here's the story of San Francisco wife Nell 65, who risked her life to save her husband of 50 years, Jim.

Jim and Nell Hamm were hiking in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park when a mountain lion attacked them. Jim 70, was the unlucky one as the lion seemed to take a liking to his flesh. Nell however, was swift to act, using a log to fight the beast until she rescued her husband from death's jaws.
